Horizontal landmark
Identifying the character of Bussigny signalling a direction… An opening has continuity, a linkage to the landscape. Putting emphasis on the geographic richness of this territory by organizing the voids and the interstitial spaces of the project around the woods of the Jura. This orientation is based on the levelled curves of the site allowing a horizontal reading.
The area around the landscape is agricultural. One lives on the site in view of the plain around the lake (South West), and the distance in oriented sequences.
To compel the building to free the points of view and to subjugate it to landscaped contractions to form the landscape.
Preserve the margins, the structural voids and organise the urbanity. These pieces of landscape are the recuperations of water, oxygen, conscience, and of regenerative elements. The identifiable reserves structure themselves in seven themed gardens, which organise a continuous pedestrian path.
The positioning of the building is derived in the supple ability to absorb the uncertainties of a future construction type; their probable variation of affectations and usages, of thicknesses is made possible.
